| ABOUT THE LODGE

Selous Bush Camp is a classic cotton canvas camp in the old explorer's style with the main lodge area under 180 square meters of khaki Bedouin-style tent. Each tented chalet is a double en-suite nestled into pristine African bushveld and set apart from the other tented chalets ensuring privacy for our guests. Meals can be enjoyed in the main tent or under the stars in our exquisite open air boma.


Tented Safari Camp:

  • 12 Tented Chalets /  24-bed camp. 
  • Unique wildlife experiences include safari drives, bush walks, game capture, rhino and vulture tagging. 
  • 150km from Johannesburg (2 hours by road)
  • 20mins away from Sun City
  • 10mins away from Pilanesberg National Park
  • 30 mammal species. 300+ bird species.

All tents have a private deck as well as:

  • En-suite Bathroom with a separate shower & toilet
  • Tea / coffee service in tent on request
  • All amenities supplied.
  • Linen supplied
  • Towels 
  • No electricity in guest tents (only main lounge)
  • Re-chargeable lanterns.
